Which Video Card?
This is my first time posting and I have a question about video card. A very important thing for gaming. I know this is kind of a mystery to more than just me, so hopefully this question will benefit everyone.
I've been looking up some information on Sims 2 and I found out that my video card is not good at all for playing Sims 2. That explains all the lagging I get. *sigh*
I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT.
Other info: Windows Vista - Home Premium on my HP-Pavilion m8120n
1920 x1200 display mode
32 bit
Integrated RAMDAC
3070MB RAM
1776 MB memory
Anything other info needed?
I was looking at this chart at the Sims Wiki which is great for telling you which cards will work, but not which card would be best for my computer. I'm hoping someone here has the knowledge to help me make a decision.
I also play Fallout 3 on my computer. So a video card that can more than handle those two games, because I might look at playing other games on my PC, would be great.
