adulthood here I come (in a slow stumbling manner)

So today was the last day the application to the nursing program could be post marked. They always tell the stories of the sobbing students trying to get it all together at the last minute and I was NOT going to be one of them. I had blood drawn in June to prove immunity, and started getting my Hep B series in July. Leaving camp, moving, and starting school all started and life got more crazy. Still met with an adviser in August and seemed all organized. Last week I took the entrance exam and realized I needed my doctor to sign off the physical. I figured since she'd checked me w/in the last year she'd just sign off. When I couldn't get a hold of her I decided to just go to the student clinic Tuesday. I dug all my immunization paperwork out of the file and took it with me. Flipping through it in the waiting room I suddenly realized I couldn't find the word "varcilla" anywhere. I need to prove immunity to chickenpox! In 3 days! Also find out I don't just need the usual tetanus shot I'm up to date on, but a specific one. Yep, I am well on the way to being one of those students. So the blood is drawn, the shot is given, and I wait.
Fast forward to this morning when I am screaming at the computer because I can't find my residency status on the school website, and the paper in the copier keeps jamming, and I'm sending multiple e'mails to my adviser because I can't find the sheet she signed off on and I'm waiting on pins and needles to find out if my blood results are going to come in on time. Well I found the signed paper, got the results from the clinic and got it all in the mail in time to come home and have lunch before work.
Even though I triple checked it all the papers I'm still paranoid that something's left out.

On the up side the leftovers for lunch were delicious, and I have super spiffy mechanical pencils while getting the envelope. However I really need to stop going into stores. It's not that I spend tons of money, but I really shouldn't be spending any unnecessary money. Especially with spring tuition and book costs looming in the horizon. well speaking of that I think it's time to go to work.
