I finally got the last full Pumpkins album, Machina, today.
I'm no longer so eager for a Pumpkins revival.
They were losing it, and I think maybe they got out of it at the right time. I also bought a Blur DVD and it made me slap myself for never taking the time to listen to them before. I remember in 1995, as a new arrival to England, everything was about Blur vs Oasis. I chose Oasis and as a result I always ignored them. Yes that's right, because of an arbitrary decision when I was 8. But they definitely have some good stuff. Why does one of the band look exactly like Johnny Greenwood from Radiohead though? Was he moonlighting? Didn't Thom give him a big enough cut from Radiohead profits?
