it's progress
Went in to see the vascular specialist at the VA today. He's happy with the left leg wound being all dried up and is also happy the the wound on the right leg looks a lot better than it did two weeks ago before I was admitted and pumped full of Clindamycin. I expect he'll be scheduling me for a vein stripping in the next month or so, which should do a lot to further reduce the right leg wound. Might even close it up completely. *crosses fingers*
Drive back from the VA was pretty horrible; I missed the turnoff for Memorial Bridge and was trapped in stop & go traffic over by the FDR Memorial while the Park Service did something invisible and blocked off a lane to do so. This did not make my legs happy. :(
Since I think I may be coming down with a cold, I guess I'll turn on the heat and go to bed.
