Uh, no thanks.
Got a wad of papers yesterday from Social Security informing me that they were going to sign me up for Medicare A&B. No big deal, except that Part B is going to deduct ~$100 out of my disability checks, and I can't really afford that. Also, neither A nor B gives me anything I don't already get from the VA, and the coverage doesn't stack, so I just don't see the advantage in paying a C-note for something I'm already getting for free, not counting the co-pays. The penalty I might pay later for not taking Part B now doesn't bother me since I don't plan on taking Part B later anyway, barring some huge change in how the VA does stuff.
Guess I'll finish up the paperwork later and mail it in to avoid the hit.
