Dropping down the ladder, pound by pound

Jul 22, 2013 17:58

This morning's weight was 370.5, down from 379.7 at the beginning of the month; there was a bump up to 387.6 right before the 4th, so in a way it's a little more impressive than it looks at first. Morning BG have also been good enough for long enough that I've cut one metformin and two glipizide off the daily dose. Been keeping the carbs down in the 30-35 range, and most days I've been eating only about 1300 calories, so I guess it's not too surprising that the pounds have been melting away. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, but I might fall off the bottom of the monthly weight chart, which only goes down to 365, by the end of the month. We'll see.

Reactivated my file with Accountemps today at the Tyson's office, and I guess it went well. I'll know for sure if they call me and send me out on assignment this week.

Going to head out shortly and take in the Nationals/Pirates game, which was a $1 special. Unfortunately, Metro costs are more than I can afford and the local parking is even worse, so I think I'll resort to parking under the Frederick Douglass bridge and walk to the stadium as I did when I went to the O's game with brian_edminster and Brenda last year. We'll see how that works out. I'm lighter now than i was then, but on the other hand I haven't been doing a lot of walking.
