As the end of November heaves into sight...

...it looks like the last week of it is going pretty darn well.
Okay, yeah, I am journaling from the local McDonald's since the school is closed for the holiday, but that's a minor inconvenience. More to the point, my freezer and fridge are stuffed with enough low-carb and no-carb food to get me well into December (inlcuding a frozen turkey which probably won't be cooked until next week), my phone is active again thanks to the generosity of friends, and I'm back on the dietary horse. Classes are going well, I'm on track to only need 12 credits next term to graduate, and things are lining up well for the CPA exam prep.

Also, I completed Iron Noder early. Maybe it's not as big an achievement as NaNoWriMo, but still, thirty essays. Not a lightweight in the bunch, either, if I do say so myself.

Been getting lots of face time lately, too, which is always good. Hung out with Mark last Saturday night for steak & conversation, had breakfast the next morning with Dutch and digex regarding school, diet, and all that, and I'm also going to be hanging out with smitty1e tonight, not entirely for business. Also, I'll be spending Thanksgiving and the weekend down at Luray with the Taylors, and they're good people. Ought to be a good time.

Other peoples' children are being loud, screechy and annoying. More to say, but I think I'll deal with it later.
