30 Day Anime Meme - Catching Up
This is going to be a collection of quick hits, because I really ought to be working an accounting & management stuff and not this, but right now...I want a few minutes' distraction from the treadmill.
Day 8 - Most Epic Scene Ever
From Full Metal Panic! - Sousuke's "I'm the man who takes out the garbage" scene.
Day 9 - Saddest Anime Scene
Kei's death scene in Jin-Roh, in which (to Kazuki's horror) she recites the penultimate lines from Rottkappchen as a sign that she recognizes that she has to die. There are some other scenes that come close to this:
Day 10 - Favorite "Slice of Life" Anime
Ai Yori Aoshi, especially the first episodes where Aoi and Kaoru are living together in Kaoru's tiny apartment.
Day 11 - Favorite Mecha Series
I like Full Metal Panic! quite a bit, but my real favorite is an obscure six-episode series called Dai-Guard.
Day 12 - Favorite Anime Ending Theme
Oh, man. This is a tough choice. I like a number of ending themes. Ruka Imai's "Truth" and J.A. Ceazer's "Virtual Star Embryology" from Revolutionary Girl Utena are big favorites from way back, as is Megumi Hayashibara's "Oshiete Koi Wa Happiness" from All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku.
Day 13 - Cosplay of your 'waifu' or 'husbando'
I don't do cosplay, so this doesn't apply.
Day 14 - Current (or most recent) Wallpaper
Oddly, I've never had anime wallpaper. With the exception of brief periods when I used demotivational posters or Goonfleet wallpapers, I generally use OS-tans.
Day 15 - Post a cute Neko-Girl
You can't handle the catgirls!
On the off-chance that you can, I recommend the Wilde Home For Wayward Catgirls.
Day 16 - Favorite Insert Song
Pretty much any of the duel songs from Revolutionary Girl Utena, or "The Sunlit Garden".
Day 17 - Favorite Tsundere
This is a character type I don't care for. Akane Tendo from Ranma 1/2, I suppose, since she does have a number of redeeming features to offset the occasional violence. Also, she gets better.
