Very tired.
I just wanted to post my latest capoeira stories.
I went to capoeira this thursday and we stayed for an extra half hour just playing.
I perhaps got in the roda more than anyone else and I think I played everyone, at least all the higher level people. And suprisingly I did not get tired, though I think that was more because all the periods I played were fairly breif.
The most interesting part was how rough I was playing. I was doing light contact with two of the new guys, who are only new to the school, not new to the art. I managed to block all of their strikes without even realizing it. Either they are being too predictable with their kicks, my jinga was just perfectly timed or I'm getting alot better at blocking without thinking about it. I'm hoping it's the latter, but I suspect it wasn't entirely so, because I seriously don't recall ever reacting to strikes coming my way, they just hit my gaurd. I guess that's the benefit of keeping my gaurd up.
Tomorrow (today?) there is a capoeira party commemorating the new school. Now I can capoeira every day of the week! I'm either going to be very fit or very broken.
OH, and my handstands are getting MUCH better, though I'm still a long way from walking.
