It was a very slow fourteen miles, but fourteen miles nonetheless. I treated the last mile more like a cool-down, walking a good part of it and then taking the rest at a slow jog. I finished 13 in 2:45; and the 14 in 3:00.
I did this training run at run 8 minutes/walk 2 minutes, so I'm hoping between race day adrenaline and changing the ratio to 9/1, then I won't be SO FUCKING SLOW.
Also, hopefully taking this one so slow will make recovery easier.
I feel pretty good right now, no falling down or anything. It makes me feel pretty positive about the possibility of doing the full marathon in the next year.
