(no subject)
Guys! The ice out here... is ridiculous. I thought I was going to die, or at least break a bone. I was walking back from my friend's dorm and I had to go through this parking lot and it was literally an ice skating rink. It was so scary, but pretty amazing at the same time. It look me ten minutes to cross it, when generally it takes ten seconds. It's on a hill and when I would try to stand still, I would glide swiftly down the hill. No joke. I wish someone other than a public safety officer were there to see it. And there was a big SUV trying to get out and There was no way it had any control over where it was going for more than two seconds at a time. That's what scared me. Amazingly, I did not get hit by a car, and even more amazing, I did not fall!
In other astonishing news, I got a B on that unfinished metals project, which means.... A for the course! Hooray! But possibly a B. I don't know or care because I learned more in that class than any other I've taken, possibly in my life. That course was cool. I still should have finished it, which leaves me disappointed, but I have to go to effing bed man. This semester kicked my ass in that I'm so tired! I didn't realize I was done until my dad called me at 9pm to congratulate me on surviving. I love him so much. I can't believe he called just to say he was happy for me.
