Where can I start... First of all I’d like to pinpoint that I have no intention to stomp on anybody’s toes with this post. I just sum up the recent state of my pup and explain things happened past months to Réka and also to her mun.
Short timeline of previous happenings:
As you may know, I came up with an idea that immortals could find a way to have children.
And then I started a storyline, an original plot for my original character: Réka.
The first entry of the plot were set up in April, in which Réka found a way to make her body fertile, a serum that she started taking. Six weeks later, when she made sure her period returned, Réka went to New York and asked her fellow immortal - and former husband - to help her conceive a child that the other immortal promised.
Réka has conceived at June, so the delivery is due at March and not before. In September, she returned to New York and she’s staying at an estate at Long Island.
She’s heavy with twins, a girl and a boy. It was something we agreed on with fellow muns ages ago and I’m not going to change the original plot till the delivery. Unfortunately, other changes will be established, due to a major breakup between muns...
*sighs* Hard things happened behind the scenes, and I do not wish to enter into those things. The only thing I want to say that I’m really and truly sorry that.
All in all, the other mun stated in her pup’s LJ that she has done with the baby-plot, so I found myself alone with a heavily pregnant pup (
woman_of_river) and also the worst bastard I ever created (
ghost_undead).
I tried. I tried to forget the plot, but the pups were stronger so I continued. I can’t help. Réka and Bleda are my oldest and strongest pups and I had to continue their story to write a closure of sort for them.
Oblivion is the worst thing that should happen to pups, especially to OCs. They have no real lives, canons or anything. They just live in their writers’ minds and a couple of stories. That’s why I decided to continue the plot, the part of Réka and Bleda at least.
So, Réka’s recent state:
She’s staying at a Long Island estate, under the all pervasive protection of her husband. Usually, Réka don’t take it easy if someone restricted her freedom but now she takes the provisions willingly because she’s as solicitous (paranoid) about her children as their father. Even if she’s allowed to leave the estate, Réka rarely takes the opportunity. She’s running reserved life now, occupying herself with some research for her company and also making preparations for her upcoming maternity. She’s out of touch with most people she knows save one of her workmates,
Rob Harris, and she was also allowed to visit Darius.
So, this is where we stand and I’m gonna continue the storylines of Réka and Bleda.
And now, the hardest part:
Regarding her children’s father... Well, this is
dieterhaag and I’m not going to deny this fact. It was Réka’s decision to ask him to father her children because - even if she never was in love with him - she’s emotionally bound to him. And because of playing 1984 to someone - even to a fictional character - is very displeasing for someone who has been raised up in a country where Orwell’s utopia was kind of reality.
Nevertheless, since the muns do not talk to each other any longer, certain problems will be arisen... I have no the slightest intention to “control” or “godmod” anyone’s pup, no, I’m just going to write the story of my pups, from their POV, that’s why I’ll try to avoid mentioning names and references to other pups than mine. It doesn’t mean that I’d deny anything of Réka’s past and present, I’m just trying to handle this frustrating situation.
I don’t know how the other pup will settle this situation (and I can only hope his mun will have the decency not to drop out Réka her own storyline) but this isn’t my business.
Finally... in order to save muns and pups from more confusion, I declare the story of Réka and Bleda as an AU of sort. *nods* I think this is the best I could do, since the only thing I want is to continue the story of Réka... and also her children.
Thank you for listening.
