A Little up-date!
Hi, heard from kerkevik, who has had some distressing news, but doesn't want to post about it just yet. I will contact him later. Sure he will be back soon.
I got a phonecall from my bank to let me know that a known fraudster was caught by the police with details of my finance. I'm getting a new card from the bank, and have checked all the recent withdrawals with them and nothing seems to have been taken. I also checked my Credit Card as well, and everything is ok there as well. Seems to have been caught before they could take anything. Just means I've had to deal in cash since yesterday.
I spent most of yesterday on Twitter following Hackgate, which seemed to become piegate. Two gates in one day, seems an overused term now.
Met lots of people who know the couple who won the Eurolottery (you know the one I mean, with £166 million). They are under a great deal of pressure at present, and, from what I heard, had left the country for now. I didn't get any of the money thought, and neither did anyone I met.
