He wasn’t sure what it would do to Sam, when it came to this brother, he wasn’t sure what an angel’s intentions would be, but now he was desperate enough to try anything.
His brother, weakened from the withdrawal of demon blood was compliant in drinking the red liquid. Sam convulsed, his body in racked with pain, as it seemed every single part of him was shaking. Dean stood back in horror as blood seeped from his nose, his eyes, his ears as well as his mouth.
When Sam lay still, Dean checked his vital signs. They he was till alive, as Dean stood up, a bright light filled the room, centering in on Sam’s still form. It enveloped Sam, then disappeared.
Sam stood, in a voice Dean couldn’t recognise, he heard the voice say.
“You have done well. A good righteous man.”
Dean looked as the figure made it’s way to the door, he knew that Sam was no longer in control of his body.
“What have I done”
“Gave me the only vessel strong enough to hold my essence You and your father made this body strong enough to help me lead my army of angels.”
“Who are you?”
“I am an Arch-Angel, finally come to earth to defeat the darkness. This is a double blow to the enemy. They have lost their leader, and I have the power to defeat this treat. For you I will make Lilith my first conquest.”
With a flutter of white wings, Sam, the Arch-Angel, whoever was in charge was gone.
Dean looked at the bottle. He had lost his brother after all.
