open_on_sunday prompt Land(ing) #1, #2 & #3

These are my three responses to the open_on_sunday prompt this week! Yey, got inspired!

She felt it, she was falling. Higher than the tower, it was too much. Sending her first lover to hell, her mother dying, being pulled out of heaven. Each night she fought the darkness, she tried to save a world she no longer felt part of. If she had a death wish, she was only surviving because she would not give in easily.

Then she found something to cling to, someone who gave her a feeling of connection. While she was with Spike, she could feel alive. It was something that would stop her falling. She didn’t want to land.

The ship landed in New York. A land full of promise, and amusement for his Dark Princess and himself. Away from the bleak atmosphere of Europe. While the unrest had been lovely to play in, it was making his Drusilla restless. She talked of blood and war, turmoil and the delicious scent of impending death. Of an Empire dying, and the destruction of old systems and beliefs.

Now, arriving in the New World he was sure he could find ways to distract her. While in the middle of a depression, the gulf between the have and have nots was vast.

It was earth magic, tied into the land and nature. Working in harmony with nature. Willow felt the wholesomeness of the spell, as a flower grew. She was learning to come back from the dark places she has been since Tara’s death, and her headlong spiral into the black arts. She was emerging, maybe she could be a white witch again, able to help her friends and make a difference.

When Giles pointed out the flower was out of place in the English countryside, she started to feel doubt again. Could she really be trusted to use magic ever again?
