Xander checked the car over again. The oil was topped up, and the car gleamed from extensive cleaning and polishing. Buffy had her slayer skills, out every night saving the world from the things that went bump in the night. Willow was super-intelligent, and learning witchcraft.
Now, with his driving licence and wheels, Xander had something they didn’t. He could do something they couldn’t. Something useful. A life skill he could use for many things.

It was Fred’s first Christmas back in L.A., and Cordelia was determined to make it a memorable one for her. She insisted that everyone bought presents, and supervised the decorations. The hotel had the largest tree she could find, with so many decorations. Presents where piled up, even a few of their clients had joined in.
The traditional ingredients for the festive meal where stored. Fred was still hiding out in her room. Cordelia was determined not to be dismayed that her efforts where not met with more enthusiasm.
She prepared the Christmas scented room oil, for the final touch.
Buffy was antsy. She could really do with patrolling the Italian streets looking for some big bad to take down. A few vampires, maybe even a nest. Just to let off some steam. The problem was that the Immortal had so many contacts, and had so much of the City in the palm of his hand, that she could never be sure that she was not killing demons that were controlled by him.
When the Immortal appeared to take her out, instead of suggesting an area to patrol, he took her for a body massage, with relaxing lavender scented oil.
