Mercy- A sort of review
So, in my fangirl quest, I finally came around to watch Mercy, which have been sitting in my computer for a surprisingly long time . Will, I 'm glad I did ! I think I really fall a little in love with Scotty Caan. Don't get me wrong, I'm an Alex girl to the bone, and since H5-0, I really like Scotty (until h5-0 I had no idea who he was). Also, I know, or at least I'm really, really convinced that Scott, in reality ? Kind of a douche, you know ? A very, very, very sexy and charming, and interesting, and smart, and surely, funny one, but still. And I have to admit, that, in virtue of the legendary bad boy effect, I kinda like him for it. I have to say it makes me laugh. I can help, it cracks me up when I see a video on his photo exhibit, and he's all like "one of my friend called me one night, saying "I'm with two friends, they really want to take picture together" and I say, sure, come over" (that's give or take, the story). YEAH OK SCOTTY,GOTTA SACRIFICE FOR YOUR ART, RIGHT?
I'm pretty sure that his character in The Dog Problem is a lot autobiographic. Photography= totally his pick-up technique. Just sayin'. Anyway, I get the feeling that he's far from being an angel when it comes to deal with chicks (yes, chicks, you know he totally says that ^^). So, it might not be obvious, but despite (or maybe thanks to) all this, I like him (on more than just the aesthetic level ^^) as an actor. He's talented, and not just in acting. I think his pictures are good, and the two movies he wrote that I watched were well written. The dialogs, the characters were really enjoyable. I'm not a really big fan of the whole "I'm an artist, this is kind of beneath me" deal he have going one, though. A bit too much pompous, if you ask me, but then again, maybe it's a part of his cocky way ^^
Anyway, getting back to Mercy, it gave me the feeling of being an authentic movie, but also very delicate, in the way some things are not told, the way it can be in the real life, and it was very well reflected in the directing, too. So yup, all this for this one phrase review. Well, I should add that I found it really beautiful, and Scotty blew my mind with his performance, all the characters were really good and perfectly interpreted. So yeah, a really, really good movie, one that I truly enjoyed, because there was some fun touches, but it was also very touching, and modest, too. Oh, and pretty, of course

PS: this movie launched a theory I have about Scott. He's like a "petit beurre" : it's a small, square, all golden biscuit, with round edge. It's really good, buttery and sweet :3. I love those. Proof :
