Always been the type of person who looks at the world through rose-tinted glasses, seeing the good in all around me. It's not that it isn't there anymore, just need to squint to see it. So many 'realities' had come into our lives lately and it's honestly taken a toll on us
On November 1st, our neighbor was struck and killed on the side of a highway. Saw the story even make the Daily Mail in the UK. This 29yr old wonderful caring man had a bright future ahead of him that ended in tradedy. He grew up across the street from us, played with my daughter & the group of kids who lived here. Watched him grow, graduate and eventually become a nurse. News crews were on the street, trying to find a scoop I suppose, it was terrible.
All has been quiet otherwise in the House of Tat, we're all in good health and working. In spite of our daughter (she lives with us) having covid last November, and me being around people all the time, our health has been good, neither my husband or I contracted anything. RA is pretty much controlled other than mild flare-ups from working many hours.
Have gotten several additional tattoos and planning for more, just need the time and money💰😉.
Thanksgiving was nice, my Dad and "Moms" over for dinner. Lots of cool stories, belly laughs and plans to repeat for Christmas.
Unfortunately Moms had a stroke 2 days ago. She's doing very well considering - they removed the clot, caught it early. She hopes to get into a rehab soon so she can get back home. They are both 85 and fiercely independent - especially her 😁
