Weird fandom
Ok, Alexander Skarsgård is my second favorite actor, the first one is the one and only Hugh Jackman. Since I finished my master degree, I've been involved in the True Blood fandom, mostly because of the Viking vampire, Eric Northman, who is played by Alex. By the end of last year I joined the World of Skarsgård's Fanged forum, I mostly lurked there posting the occasionally picture although the other ladies most of the times talked about their private lives and other stuff, besides making fun of Alex and his weird relationship with the class c pseudo actress Kate Bosworth. They constantly accused Alex of being different to what he claims to be. I don't know him, I just have seen him in Generation Kill and True Blood and I think he's a good actor, and that he has the potential to reach the level of Hugh Jackman, Denzel Washington or Russell Crowe, but that takes time and that depends too of what he wants. He's European and the European mentality is different, besides, Hollywood is the most false place on Earth. A place where if you are 1 pound heavier, you're consider obese, or if you are over 30 years you're old. Bah... Nothing lasts forever....
By the beginning of this year, an argument between the administrator of WoS and one of the members of the Fanged forum. That incident caused a rupture and there was an massive exodus from the fanged forum. This morning, before going to work I checked the forum and I saw the same ones who had the argument in WoS were leaving the new forum too....
I don't know what happened, because lately I've been concentrated on the pages of which I am a moderator in Facebook and doing so much Askars fan art with those sexy pictures from GQ, but I was shocked when I found about this.
I believe that if I admire an actor or a musician is because they do something I like. In Alex's case the reason I like him is because he can act, I love the character of Eric Northman, he's different from most Hollywood actors who think they are God gifts to earth, such as Matthew McConaughey or George Clooney (who coincidently are actors I dislike very much). Ok, I called Alex Skars-rex because of the awkward position of his hands when he's jogging, I hate Slash's top hat, but besides that I admire Alex as an actor and Slash as a musician. Perhaps those little things make them human, and I like that. Well Alex is too handsome so that's another reason I like him very much. Slash, well, he's not handsome but I find him sexy in a different way.

He's the reason why I watch True Blood and even though sometimes I laugh at those little things he does like wearing those boots the way he does, that doesn't stop me from admire him and I wouldn't put him down or say he's an airhead, because I don't know him personally, I'm just a fan that sees him through television or images.
For the moment I will continue with my moderator job at the facebook pages and looking forward to the start of the 4th season True blood, despite Mr. Bolas (oops Mr. Ball mind games), the stupid relationship of Anna Paquin with fugly Stephen Moyer and whatever else that I have to see just because of my Vikingo Bello!!
