That Metal Show
Ok, last night I waited until midnight to watch That Metal show in VH1 classic to see one of my favorite guitar players; Slash… But one more time, the hosts from that show started to whine about the Rock & Roll hall of fame induction process. According to them, Iron Maiden and Kiss should be inducted, oh well, what the heck, I don’t give a damn about it, I just wanted to see Slash, after all most of my favorite bands and singers are already inducted (The Beatles, Led Zep, The Doors, Bee Gees, Jimi Hendix, Eric Clapton)…But I agreed with them in one thing, ABBA shouldn’t be there… Why? because when I heard vocalists talking about their influences, the names of the Beatles, The Bee Gees and The Temptations often are mentioned, but I don’t remember someone mention ABBA as an influence…. But Iron Maiden?? Kiss??? come on??? those guys must be tripping in acid….
So I wonder their reaction if Duran Duran someday becomes inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame… I would be glad they’re get inducted… I have to admit they are my favorite band from the 80’s…. I guess the guys from That Metal Show would enter into a mental crisis and must go to rehab
In the end I enjoyed Slash appearance in that show, he was the reason for seeing those 3 annoying hosts that hate everything that is not metal.
For the moment I’m still watching Alexander Skarsgård in GK, and dealing with this stupid cold that makes me unable to taste food properly… that really sucks!
Speaking of Mr. Skarsgård...
Ok, Slash may not be as handsome as my favorite Viking, but I have to admit I find him sexy...LOL
Even though I hate the stupid top hat...
