Job Search Meh
Alright, i'm upset. Like Uber upset. I should've listened to Liana. Ugh. Okay so i went in for my second interview at Wakely this morning at 9 am. I was dismissed at 9:15 and i have no idea why. It was a complete waste of my time. I did everything right. Dressed up, did the hair, looked alright and had my resume and everything with me. It was just peachy. I got into the interview. Amy explained what the position is exactly and then, i asked how much the position paid (which is standard interview question number ONE) and that was it. She asked no questions other then "when would you be able to start" which is also standard interview questioning...i said next monday...she said okay, that i'd have to call my agency to find out about pay rates and that they'd give me a call. Done. Whole interview took about seven minutes. It was disturbingly quick and honestly i'm really upset. How does your interviewer not know the pay rate ? That makes NO sense to me. She showed (just like george) absolutely no intererst in me , just in my typing speed. IF that's how this company is run, they can keep the eleven and change an hour. It was rediculous. You'd think I literally had a number on my chest. Thanks i think i'll run over to SCC and actually get a job where i'm respected alittle bit. I interviewed for Wakely a few years ago and i am amazed at how dissimilar the two interviews have been. The two i had this week have been...obnoxious. I felt transparent and unimportant. The interview two years ago was MUCH better. They paid attention and had FUN. I saw people going into and out of that building that jsut looked tired, Worn out in a way that only comes from rat-race environments. I've had my share - i know the look. MEH. I'm sooo upset at how i was treated. It was rediculous. I hope the whole company isn't like that, i'm thoroughly disgusted at the moment.
