Opportunities
Don't sometimes you feel that opportunities just jump into your lap? I just did some computer work, and while I was doing it, happened to say that I probably won't be working at my current job in a year, as I am making my own company, and got talking about it, and the fact that he started up a jewelry store, and asked mostly jokingly if I needed some seed funding (aka startup investors), and I said that I was having trouble getting some. He said that is father or father-in-law, can't remember which, does that kind of investing! I happened to have some business cards with me, so it looks like I could have got the investor I have been looking for months to find!
Maybe my company can be started on time! That just made my day (Along with the $40 tip he gave me)! It sounds like he'll have me come out and check up on his company's computers soon, too! I made $14.40 commission and $3.08 travel (Tax free), in addition to the 2 hours at my base wage of $17/hour. That was a *very* lucrative 2 hours for me today.
