Klaud Nine is known to be a calm, controlled woman who rarely shows a flicker of emotion. This comes down to all her relationships with people, she treats her fellow generals and soldiers with an air of decorum and respect. However, when it comes down to a certain flirt she actually shows her irritation and cracks that whip of hers. She understand that with her position comes great responsibility, and with that great responsibility, she expects those to respect her rank. That isn't to say that she demands that people call her "General" or "Ma'am", but she does expect a certain type of behavior - good behavior. She's stern, but she's stern for good reason. She understands the implications of war and what needs to be done. On the outside, she's an iron maiden impenetrable by any events that may transpire.
The truth is that she cares too much about her exorcists, her soldiers, her students and her friends as shown when she's mourning them. Underneath the iron surface, there's a woman that is motherly and caring for those under her. She's fiercely loyal, once she's on a side, she's on a side. She won't waver, she won't falter, she'll push through to the very end. Her students and those under her take priority over her own life.
She's religious, her views on the church are final and absolute, though she may disagree on some points, she is a devout Catholic to her very core.
An interesting point to address is Lau Shimin. Lau Shimin is a parasitic/sentient Innocence that seems to act on behalf of her hidden side. He pesters those that annoy Klaud, is irritable and grumpy at those that seem to do the same to her. While she is as focused as humanly possible on her task or on herself, he's kind of ADD- looking around and being inquisitive.

[even through text, Klaud Nine has the distinct tone of disgusted authority. Sadly for most people, it just comes off as her being cold and haughty, rather than inquisitive. Even the most stoic of people have their moments.]
Surely, there is a better way for those who claim to have the authority over men and women to amuse themselves. Regardless of the carnal nature of their so called "contract", it would appear that in their haste to toy with their captives - [never would she ever identify herself as a victim. ever.] - they neglected the common courtesy of informing them of their duties.
