As I finished swallowing the last of the pills in the bottle, I felt a little woozy. I tested my tub to make sure it was still warm and slipped into it a little clumsily. The knife I was holding nearly slipped out of my hand as I shakily cut deep marks across my paling skin. I knew doing this was a cowards way out, but I couldn't handle the fights and constant arguing that's been going on the past few days. I thought you would accept the fact I decided not to jump right into doing band activities and decided to open a bar instead. But, I thought wrong, you constantly pressured me and wanted me to continue playing my bass in a band. I just can't handle all that, just because you and my brother are still with your bands, doesn't mean I want to continue on that same path. I barely got by when the time my paychecks came in, it was my time to leave the scene for awhile.
All these thoughts filled my mind as I closed my eyes. The water started turning a light shade of pink as my blood started to flow out of my body. There was a faint sound, like someone breaking into the room, but I could barely hear it over the fog in my brain. The last thought I had before blacking out was "I hope you're happy now Iv."
