Standing in the far back of the live house, your voice and screams sent shivers down my spine as the sound resonated throughout the small space. It was as if you let out all of your emotions when you perform. Sure you're just a person who comes home after a live or tour and curls up into a ball, listening to one of our favorite bands and wishing your stage persona just stays that. But when your on stage it's like the person you want to be is hiding behind a mask.
Sure your stage persona goes from a depressed and suicidal maniac to a happy go lucky type who loves to goof around with his band mates, but I can see the real you every so often come out. Someone who has mood swings just like everyone else, who's been through so much. I'm the only one who gets to see who you really are behind the mask, the one who struggles with his emotions.
If it wasn't for me and Koichi saving you and forcing you to quit cutting, I don't think you would of lived to see how much your music means to others. I don't think I would of survived if I lost you, my beloved Genki. Well, I should say my beloved Tsuzuku now, since that's what you go by in your new band. I'm just glad we met all those years ago, and I'm glad we will continue to be together in the future.
