I don't want to be the cloudy poopy pants guy but some of those lines are so incorrect;
Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump. (noting the word 'Animal' actually encompasses every living think on this planet, including trees)
So off the bat I can name a few; crocodiles, snails, hamsters, most snakes, um... trees, hehe :P Elephants could be the only Mammal that doesn't jump ;)
The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.
As a kid my brother I and used to breed Mantids. Yes I know. we were (still are) dorks. About 9 times out of 10 the female will eat the males head AFTER sex. What the male does is is cling his 'claws' into the armpits of the female to prevent her from turning around and grabbing him to eat him. The tricky part is when he's done... how to release her and get away as fast as possible. We've actually witnessed escapes ( more like the female let him go, hehe ) Another rumour on this story is that the female would eat the male for nutrients needed for the eggs. I've never seen anthing to support this. We've seen females just eat the head, and a couple time eat the whole male ... the males are about half the size of a female anyways.
