Well, the stress has finally caught up with me, I think. I have been running around today with a slight fever (which didn't help my math test much) and sore throat. I have been exhausted all day; I barely made it through work. And I still have lots of homework to do before I go to bed. Plus dishes in the sink that are piling up (again! I did the dishes yesterday =P) and...yeah.
My research paper is coming along. I haven't started writing yet, I'm still in the process of finding resources/people to talk to. I already talked to this guy from the downtown Boulder district thingie, and he was SO proud of his city, it was unbelievable. He kept saying that those who don't know how to operate their businesses, well, go out of business. He said this right after I mentioned Penny Lane closing. It was almost like he was telling me that he has some sort of animosity (spelling?) against Penny Lane, just like most of the more upscale people do in Boulder. I guess they're sick of hippies hanging around their streetcorners or something. Whatever. They're stupid. The guy bugged me. But I was polite and thanked him for his time and typed up the notes I had written down from his little monologue...
...I'm not sure if I'm going to use him FOR my argument, or as an example of someone who is against my argument. I don't really know what my argument is right now.
The gist is that we should support local businesses and give them business so they can stay in business. (Yay, lots of busy-ness!) And I'm sad that Penny Lane might be closing.
That's all for now. Gotta do my astronomy homework. Yaaaaaaaaaaay.
