I'm having the best day EVER.
It's like a manic Monday on Thursday...
I woke up late. I think my alarm went off, and I just turned it off and went back to sleep. =P Stupid Nyquil makes me more sleepy than usual...*Sigh*
Then I was on my way to work, and realized my clutch was acting funny. I was driving down a hill and I was shifting, and when I put the clutch in, the car was slowing down...And when I tried to speed up in the gear I had just shifted into, it would lag like crazy and drop its speed. That's not supposed to happen. =P Also, my brakes were acting weird, like when I pressed on them, it would slow down but it was jolting...
So I pulled over into a parking lot of a park, and called this car shop, and they said they would come and pick me up...When I was pulling into that parking lot, I downshifted to second gear, and kept my foot on the clutch, and the car just...stopped.
So the clutch was acting like a brake...It was so weird. So they picked me up and took me to their shop and they gave me a car to use so I could go to work, then I brought the car back after work and they drove me home, and now my mom has to take me to class.
And I don't know if they're going to have to tow it or if they're going to be able to drive it to their shop in order to check it out. The tow guy hadn't even been to the car when I got back to the shop after work. So the guy from the shop said he would go to my car and fiddle with it...And we'll see.
I'm scared that it's going to cost a lot of money, though. Money I don't have, because I just had to pay $500 for my tuition...And I have to pay $500 in rent sometime in the next 2 days.
