First snow of winter 2022
We got our first big snow on the night of Jan 16th, and by morning school was cancelled and we had to dig back out. That means, cute pictures of kids in the snow:
Eve is eager to throw herself into the snow, making snow angels and snow balls and just cleaning cars off with her whole body.
Eve is one who wants to be super helpful, although she grows frustrated with any task more complex than "do it any way you want." Luckily, there's no wrong way to help shovel and wipe off cars - she even has her own little shovel.
This is a kid I need to get a sled for... It's weird, being from Maine, but we just don't get snow for very long out here, so having dedicated sleds for something you'll get to do once or twice in a year (before it returns to gray sky rain for three months) hasn't happened.
Of course, this is all Eve, so where's Cora?
Curled up warm in a chair of course. It's a little annoying, because it's like "Hey, the whole family is out in the snow, join us!" But, she was sitting there, fully engrossed in a book she decided to read for herself. That, I can get behind.
