My daughter and I went to a concert tonight. MUSE and Silversun Pickups. More later...I'm starting to hit the wall here. We danced our asses off. Oustanding visual stimulation watching skinny English Boys make a gigantic noise with their instruments. Really brilliant!! ARGH!
Even if you had crappy seats behind the stage, the way that it was set up, it didn't much matter. The drummer was on a turntable and I'm pretty sure that it was a see-thru set. The lighting was fantastic! I got some photos and videos on my phone camera, but have yet to download them to see how they really turned out.
And the ticket situation I gambled on really worked out beautifully. I had originally wanted to buy two seats together for Vanessa and myself, but they'd have been in the nosebleed section. So I took a chance on buying singles. It happened that the seats were in section 100, close to the floor. V was in row 12, seat 15, and I was in row 13, seat 4. The rows were close to each other, but we were on opposite ends. But being the pushy broads we are, we decided to sit next to each other until the rightful owner of my pilfered seat showed up. I even had 30 bucks for bribery purposes. But we never needed to worry as they never showed up! Yay!
