Stuff going on in my life right now:

I'm behind at work, in general. This is my first time leading a project, and I really don't want to screw it up.

My dad's been in the hospital since Friday, after some 104 degree fever spikes last week. Turns out he has a large bacterial infection in his heart. He's comfy and on the road to recovery, via heart

My brother had a heart valve infection many years ago. Nasty stuff - weeks of hospitalization and while valve replacement surgery wasn't necessary, months of IV antibiotic drips were needed. In your dad's case it sounds like they figured out what was going on pretty fast, though, and I'm glad to hear that things are looking good for the future.
