Oh, I'm a collector. I perpetually fear fire season in California because I know if it ever came near my apartment, I would not have the time to save everything. But whether it's my stack of books (yes, I am an avid reader, which shouldn't surprise anyone who really knows me), or my collection of Styx memorabilia (and yes, I did just buy the new Lyric Generation Mr. Roboto T-shirt from Hot Topic), I'm definitely a collector.
I think it's just part of my nature. I spend my days organizing stuff and putting it where it goes, so of course that's something that's going to appeal to me in my personal life. I'm a geek, and that goes for everything. It's all arranged in my closet or on shelves and everything. But in the event my apartment catches fire...well yeah, a whole lot of stuff is going to burn. I think I'm at peace with that.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go...make sure it's all put away safely.
