theatrical_muse. Prompt 284. Talk about a time you were forced out of something.

I've actually never been fired. I mean, hello...I'm my father's son. If I were ever fired from anything, my dad would have been so, so disappointed in me. He would have smacked me upside the head so hard I'd still have whiplash.

I think that comes with the situations you're in, though, and how you were raised. My dad raised me to stick with something unless it's absolutely beyond salvageable, and I've had the blessing of being in situations with good people that make it easier to get along and unlikely that we'd break up. I mean, our band is still together since high school, and we all live in totally different places. (Which reminds me, I really ought to take this Tammy I just won and...well I want to share it with them but uh...cutting it into equal pieces might be a little like, creepy, wouldn't it? Maybe I can ask if they can make a few extras.)

I've parted from all my previous jobs (and there have been a few) on good terms. I still see people I used to work with, and old bosses of mine, and we still say hello. I'm lucky like that. I'm still friends with my ex-girlfriends, though I've been told that's kinda weird too. I guess maybe it's just me.

Does this even count as answering the question?
