Well, there've been some highs and lows.
Work has been light but variable. I was the gator at Canal Days in Spencerport, which was fun. It was rather hot, too. And there have been some light WEC gigs here and there. Those have been fun on some levels and stressful in others (mainly due to trying to keep the animals calm while the crowd of children scream and become hard to calm in turn...).
All in all the pay has been a mild trickle and while that's great, it's not been enough to keep me afloat. To top it off, my body has been coming apart. Knee aches, leg cramps, constant head aches... it's been hard to function after doing my jobs and there are days i feel so broken that I can't even work. That in itself makes me feel pretty blue.
On the birghter side, I have an interview at Mary Cariola tomorrow. i am hoping it goes well, as I will start work at the end of the month if it does. I could seriously use a job right now with consistant pay periods and some sense of stability.
So as another terrible headache comes roaring in, I will return to bed. Sorry again this hasn't been the most chipper post, but i would like to think things are improving even if it is in just the slightest of ways.
