A day filled with Stuff...
Yesterday was pretty cool. Got to see the Devil's Rejects with John and Chris. The movie was amazing. Didn't hold back. Nothing. Com'on, you know that its true when I say that when you see the movie and the 1st 10 minutes of it shows a woman nude... dead ... being dragged outside. Great movie. Good at suspense too. Its not that you are waiting for someone to die. You can tell someone is going to die... You know it, its coming, oh wait almost there.... no... not yet. Rob Zombie is great at putting something in your face, letting know whats going to happen, but fucking with you. Then still suprising you with the "how" after he gives you the "who". Gore wise.. I loved it. Didnt get... Evil Dead 2-ish (blood being pumped out of the walls) nor like Dead Alive (lawnmower scene). Those are all good now, but... Mr. Zombie kept it pretty realistic but didnt hold back at all. The ending I loved the most. I loved the use of "Free Bird". Amazing... I love that movie. I will see it again Monday. And I will buy it the day it comes out on DVD as I do with all great movies. Rob Zombie is a GOD. He kicks all ass in music and movies. I cant wait to see what is next for him.
