This ain't lust. I know this is love.

Damnit. I thought I had a frozen dinner in the breakroom freezer, but I don't. Well, actually there's one in there that I'm like 50% sure is mine, but I don't want to risk stealing someone else's food. I don't want to go out and buy more food, because I already got Starbucks for breakfast and that set me back like 650 calories and a good chunk of change (though not really because I had a gift card). Also, I'm eating out for 4 meals this weekend! So while I'm excited for the yumminess, I am not excited for the price tag (probably going to spend like $150-$200 on food) or the calories, especially since all I've been eating for the past week is garbage. I think a caramel apple was the most healthful thing I've eaten all week. I need to get back on track before the holidays kick in for real.

So Starbucks! They have their holiday beverages out. I don't know why that doesn't bother me at all, but yet I'm irate about the decorations that have been up at the mall for the better part of a week. Go figure. They seem to be changing it up this year... I don't see any eggnog latte, and the gingersnap latte has replaced the gingerbread latte.  I think the only difference is they top it with crystalized ginger.  It adds quite a nice kick, until you get to the chunks of ginger at the bottom of the cup.  Then those are kind of gross, but by then the small amount of latte I have left is usually cold and nasty anyway.  I want to try the espresso truffle but it's sort of terrible for you, just like all the signature hot chocolates.  Maybe one crappy afternoon as a treat.

You know what else Starbucks has now, a rewards program!  It's called Starbucks Gold and for $25/year you get 10% off on pretty much everything, a free beverage when you purchase the account, a free drink on your birthday, up to 2 hours of free wireless at participating locations, and other discounts throughout the year.  I mean if you spend more than $250 annually at Starbucks it's a good deal.  Sadly, I am definitely among those who spend well over that a year (hell, I spend that almost quarterly), so I think I'm definitely going to go sign up.  Maybe tomorrow... I don't want to go twice a day.  Which still begs the question as to what I'm going to do about lunch... The answer is probably going to be nothing considering I'm leaving for the day in less than 2 hours anyway.  Mid-week flying, yay!  But crap, I have less than 2 hours to get all my shit done.  Yikes!  Later, skaterz.

diet, starbucks
