Save the boobs!
It's bedtime now but I wanted to quickly let you guys know about an important charity auction.
Every year, my friend laughingirl walks in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer to raise money to fight breast cancer. She's actually raised more than $100,000 since she started in 2002!
One of the ways she raises money is by collecting celebrity autographs that she attaches to little stuffed bears and auctions off along with a photo of the celebrity with a bear.
She's got a batch of auctions live right now including Julia Roberts, Seth Green, Tori Higginson, Brendan Fraser, Malcom McDowell, Kate Hewlett, Jewel Staite, Sean Astin, David Hewlett, Jason Dohring, Beau Bridges, Michael Emerson, Cliff Simon, Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp (I will fight you for him!!!) and many more. I actually helped her get quite a few of these at Shore Leave and Dragon*Con this year. Definitely some of the easiest charity work I've ever done. ;)
