[ - stats - ]

[ name? ] Abelarda
[ age? ] 23
[ male/female? ] Female.
[ astrological sign? ] Sagittarius.

[ are your traits typical of those of your sign, totally different, or do you not care/pay attention? ]
No, not that much. There are some influences, of course, but in general I have much more Scorpio (my Moon sign) traits, with strong Saturn (the strongest planet in my natal horoscope) influences, which gives me many Capricorn traits. So, I'm basically a Scorpio/Capricorn kind of person; that makes me stubborn and introverted.
Oh, and I'm quite interested in psychoastrology, by the way.

[ strengths ] Determined, practical, loyal, caring, compassionate and responsible.
[ weaknesses ] Stubborn, conservative, short-tempered, sometimes harsh, ambitious, a bit dominant and sarcastic.
[ hobbies and/or talents ] Hobbies: literature, linguistics, fanfiction, writing, computers, RPG, psychoastrology, logical games. Talents: I'm a fast-learner. I have a logical mind. I can improvise when I have to.

[ would you like two stamps (personality + appearance, pictures required), OR just one (personality)? ] Just the personality, please.

[ - questions - ]

[ what is your outlook on life? ] I'm pessimistic, but not passive. Though it may seem strange, my pessimism never lets me give up. Why? Life's a bit of a challenge to me - either I win or I lose. And I hate losing.

[ what makes you unique? ] Define "unique"... Besides, somehow I'm beginning to think that nowadays everybody wants to be unique - and I don't have the need to manifest or emphasize my so-called "uniqueness" (if I have it). Which, paradoxally, can make me "unique" too, if you want to put it this way.

[ how many people in your life would you die for if you had to? ] Honestly, I don't know that. I care deeply about some people, but on the other hand, my self-preservation instinct is very strong. I've never been in any extreme situation and I can't say how I would react then.

[ is there anyone you admire? if yes, who and why? if not, why not? ] Usually I admire people that somehow gained my respect - by intelligence, creativity, mental strength or by any other way, but I don't have an exact and only one authority figure. I prefer to have my own moral compass, based on my observations of people, and I'm trying to stick to it.

[ if you could be reincarnated as any creature (besides wolves), what would you be and why? ] A cat: intelligent, individualistic, clever and always manages to land on its feet.

[ what would you do if you found $500 on the floor and no one was around who may have dropped it? ] If I had the slightest chance to find its owner, I would try to find him. If not, I would keep it.

[ on a stressful day, what do you do to relax? ] Reading or roleplaying, because it helps me to accept my problems - you may call it "bibliotherapy"; playing logical games, because when I concentrate on something, I forget about my bad mood.

[ if there were no consequences, which law would you want to break and why? ] I don't think I would break the law only because there were no conseqences. I'm trying to stick to my own moral compass not because I'm scared of the punishment, but because I believe in it - and, in a way, I believe in law, too. Therefore, if I were to stand against the law, i would stand only against the laws that I don't believe are fair. Maybe against the punishment for the women that killed their husbands in self-defense after years of abuse - or something like that.

[ a homeless man once said this to me: "what is live spelled backwords? evil. what is lived spelled backwords? devil. what is dog spelled backwards? god. and what is man's best friend?"...what do you make of this? ] Oh, anagrams... I like playing with words, but I'm very careful and even a bit sceptical when it comes to philosophy, I prefer to do something rather than talk about it. It's easy to think about life, living itself is much harder. Besides, there is no such coincidence in my native language, so I can't even say it's metaphysical. It's all about the semantics.

[ share a favorite quote. why do you like it? ] I have plenty of them. Here's my favourite from Monty Python. Ironic and, I'd say, strangely motivating... "I built this kingdom up from nothing. When I started here, all there was was swamp. Other kings said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one... stayed up! And that's what you're gonna get, lad: the strongest castle in these islands."

[ anything else you'd like to say? ] No, that would be all.
