Why does Dad disapprove of the job? Unless there is some serious drawback (like, say, the expense of driving to and fro being more than it's worth), I agree with Sonya. Is there a real reason you think the job won't work out? I'm hoping for something positive for you every day

I would have to go through hot-line training first, which takes seven weeks. He's hassling me about the potential job because I'm not sure if I'd be getting paid during that training. I think I would be for part of it, providing I get the job, because several of the participants in the last training session were already working while undergoing the training. He just doesn't understand when I explain that, though, and I guess he's concerned about me paying too much for commuting efforts and what not, but a;djfad;fl aaagh. It's frustrating and upsetting because I feel like he's telling me I shouldn't even try. It's stupid, but I really like my parents' approval, and it hurts when they don't seem to like my endeavors

I know there's not much to be said and it's just a down period, but try not to let negativity take over completely. Absolutely no one in this world would be happy if you were not around.

I second this and couldn't find my own better words. Hang in there, Sarah. <3
I remember you mentioning the hot line training, but I didn't realize it would be so long. Augh. Wanting your parents' approval isn't stupid, and I completely understand. I'm still hoping that you will be offered the position and that the commute will not be a problem. LUCKLUCKLUCK

I let Mom know about the egg, although whether or not she actually reads the e-mails I send her is still up for debate. I sent her one earlier, but I haven't received any sort of response. :/
I don't think it would lower it too much, but I really don't want to push my luck since Cherokee Nation is already being finicky about extending my scholarship for a year. Paranoia on my behalf, I believe. :/
This is how your long distance hug made me feel. I smiled. ♥
I'll be heading home on Monday or Tuesday of next week, actually, since hot-line training won't start until the week after. ♥
Oh wow. You can't tell where my links are in that. I should have bolded them. Whoops. You can probably find them just fine, but I'll re-post them in bold nevertheless:

Also, this is for you for putting up with me: I hope you like it.
