stupidity
ok so living in Oregon my ENTIRE life, pretty much, has made me realize one thing. YOU GUYS ARE SO FREAKING LUCKY YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUMP YOUR GAS!
Today I was running errands by myself and realized "oh no, I'm almost out of gas. I should get some". So i drove up to the friendly Safeway gas pump and then realized: I do not know how to pump gas. I've seriously never done it before. Its one of those things people seem to just "know".
So the first brillant thing I did was to put my debt card in reciept despenser thingy and it got stuck, so I went into the store and they came out and got it and were like "oh don't worry it happens all the time". but i felt stupid anyway.
Then i was looking at the pump like it was this foregin piece of machinery. So then i had to call luis and have him talk me through it. He didn't laugh at all which didn't make me feel too stupid, but still.
anyway luis was no help at all, he was like "uhhhhh...try this". But i have to say I figured it out on my own and I am very pround.
and now I can pump gas at safeway, any other gass station I might have issues...
