June 2-Berlin

I took the night train from Frankfurt to Berlin. And thanks to some punk kids who decided to have a party in the train, apparently the drinking in public laws are somewhat leniant, I didn't get a lot of sleep. But I checked into the hostel early and found a bed to crash in. And to the portugese kids who were leaving as I started to sleep: I could totally tell you were talking about me.

Once I caught up on my sleep I went into Berlin. First I went to the olympicstadion, and the place was hevily fortified. Then it was time for downtown Berlin. I went through Zoo Station, the one that U2 wrote a song about on Achtung. Real nerd moment. Then I walked to Brandenburg Gate and the Reistag. I then went into the more modern Berlin area which has been recently rebuilt.

Tonight I may go to a pub or two, we will see. Tomorrow I may do some shopping, I need a sweater because it is freeying here. And I would like to get a Berlin fussball scarf, I got one from the team in Frankfurt, so I'm adding to the collection.
