May 30-31 Dulles, Zurich and Frankfurt
I left Tuesday, May 30 from Bradley airport in Hartford. Flight went well. In Dulles the original plane had an oil leak in the engine, so our flight was delayed 4 hours, so in total I spent 11 hours at Dulles. It wasn't too bad, I talked about the world cup with a guy at the bar who was jealous that I got tickets.
Arrived in Zurich at noon local time (6 am EST), hopped a couple of trains and went through the Black Forest and I am now in Frankfurt. The hostel is nice, it is right across from the train station. I have a roommate, he is an older man from China. Pretty quiet. Tonight I may find a local pub to go to, and tomorrow I will do some sightseeing. I leave for Berlin tomorrow evening.
