My apologies..

Oct 07, 2009 03:53

I'm downloading the start of Season 6 (OMG! ARE WE REALLY ALREADY ON SIX?!?!?) After that I'm going to watch some of the older House/Wilson loaded episodes.

I say this because I think it's time for me to get off this hiatus. I've been looking around and reading little bits of stuff I had written and feel bad that I decided to take such a long break. -_-; I'm a dick, I know.. my sincerest apologies, K?

And while looking at these snippets I ran across a few I thought were cute and thought I should post some, I mean, it's the least I can do.. right?

Some may eventually end up in IRDY? and some won't. I won't say which. Just enjoy, okay?

Love you all! ♥♥♥♥♥♥!!

~~Toe Socks~~

"Where did you get those and why are you wearing them?" House asked as he walked into the room and found Wilson sitting back on the couch with a pair of brightly striped socks that reached his knees. This alone was bad enough but it was the fact that they were toe sock is what really got his attention. Wilson looked from House then back to his socks.

"I don't know." he said staring down at his glittery and brightly colored toe socks before glancing back up to House again. "I just wanted to have some fun."

House smiled back.

~~Spinach Pie~~

Wilson walked into the living room and stopped in his tracks when he caught sight of House sitting at the couch eating some of the spinach pie he had made earlier that night. This was the last thing he expected to find. All while cooking he had to endure House moaning and whining about how spinach was the worst thing to eat.

"Too healthy, too green." he said. Wilson told him he was being childish in return.

It didn't take but a second for House to notice Wilson and freeze in place as well. He quickly put his plate down. "It's not what it looks like." he stuck his nose up in an attempt to play it all off.

Wilson stared at House and turned his stare to the plate of spinach. He went back and forth with House staring at him as well.

Finally he sighed and gave in. "You didn't see anything." he picked up the plate and took another bite and grumbled.

Wilson smiled and let out a chuckle and folded his arms.

"I see all I need to know."

~~Ole Blue Eyes~~

"Aww, don't Worry, Jimmy! Ole Blue eyes only has eyes for you."

"Frank Sinatra has a crush on me?"

He turned around and shot him a confused look. "What?"

""Ole Blue eyes", that's Sinatra's nickname."

"I was talking about me!"

"Yeah, yeah. What about Gene Kelly?"

"What about him?"

"Does he have a crush on me too?"

"If he knew you I'm sure he would. No man can resist your charm." House winked.

~~A Cold~~

"You're eating a po-boy?"

House looked up and sniffed before grabbing a napkin and wiping his runny nose. "Yeah, and?"

"You have a cold."

He sighed before glaring at Wilson. "Are we going to be getting to the point anytime soon?"

"You shouldn't be eating a fried shrimp po-boy with a cold."

"Oh, and I should be eating what? Soup and juice?" And to further push his defiance, he took a sip of his Dr. Pepper. "Sorry if I feel like enjoying myself, Dr. Killjoy."

~~Remembering~~

"I was nice to see you loose your composure for a change. Granted, I was rather freaked out myself, it's still nice to think back on." Wilson reminisced aloud.

"Yeah well, you were cute. I couldn't help myself. And besides you were asking for it, touching my hands like that!" House laughed as he recalled that memory from long ago.

"I was trying to be nice." Wilson defended.

"Yeah, and I was trying to be nice by thanking you."

"You thanked me by kissing me, your friend-"

"Hey, you enjoyed it! You may have been freaked out, but you liked it! If you didn't you wouldn't have let me move in that cramped little studio apartment and sleep in your bed with you!"

"I'm sorry," Kutner interrupted with a look on his face that said he had been listening for a time. "The patient's just had a heart attack."

~~Take My Coat~~

House wrapped his arms around himself to try and keep to hold of any little heat he could. He exhaled and tried not to show any bit of his shivering.

Wilson noticed immediately. He gave his friend a sad stare before he started to work off his coat. "Here, take my coat."

But House didn't want his charity. "I don't need your coat, I'm fine."

"You're shivering! Take it, I have my sweatshirt and scarf. I'm fine." And before House could object again, he slipped the coat over his shoulders. The coat itself was so warm not only by it being well insulated but by Wilson's body heat he couldn't push it away, only pulled it a little tighter around him.

And as if saying thank you in some secret language, House leaned his shoulder against Wilson's.

~~Bad Timing~~

"Kissing me doesn't get old?"

"Nothing about you gets old... well, maybe your lectors.. and that tie.. well, nothing about kissing you gets old." he smiled as he tried for another kiss.

Wilson complied. "What's wrong with my tie?"

House shook his head. "I've seen it like a million times! I know how much you love buying ties! Go get some new ones!"

"Why should I?" Wilson teased with House purposely taking the bait right away.

"Well, if you do, let's just say I'll make it worth your wild tonight, hm?" He leaned in a kissed Wilson's neck with the said man chuckling. "A nice fancy dinner, you and me and all night to drive you absolutely mad with-"

"Why do I always walk in when you two are having these conversations!" Kutner barked with Wilson quickly pulling form House in surprise.

House grinned.

"Because we always talk about that stuff. It's what we do." House teased with Wilson shaking his head.

"What's up, Kutner?"

A Deleted Scene from Med School!

Since I was becoming rather impatient with this story and wanted to progress I ended up cutting the two's time together in half. If they had still been together in the spring I would have left this clip in. I hope you all enjoy! ♥

~~Boating in the Park~~

And just like that, Greg lost his balance and went right over the side of the boat and into the water. The only thing James could do was laugh as he held tight to each side of the boat. His friend was drenched and glaring. "Greg, you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's water not hot lava." He grumbled sulkingly. "Who's idea was it to go 'boating'?"

"It was yours." James said with an amused cheeky smile that seemed to radiate and tease that He was dry while Greg was soaked and standing in chest deep water.

Yeah, well.. Whatever." He spat out, not even bothering to make his way back into the boat but rather swimming to shore. James chuckled as he followed him in the boat. James had greeted him once he walked onto shore with that same amused smile and spoke the most obvious statement he could have ever said.

"Greg, you're soaked."

Had James not said this, he probably could have saved himself, but no, Greg found it suddenly unfair that he was soaked and James dry as could be. "Oh, yeah? Well guess what? You're about to be, too!" And with that, Greg shot forward grabbed his cheeky dry friend and lunged he and James into the water.

"Ack! Greg! What the hell?!" He barked, soaked and sitting in water that reached his waist. Greg had the laugh now, James looked miffed and pathetic. His fury seemed to have the visual equivalence as a drenched cat. Greg was laid back next to him in the water. "Why, Jimmy, you're wet! How'd that happen?" He teased.

James glared but didn't add anything to it.

--

Once all was said and done, they got out and sat back on a bench near the water. Both men were soaked to the bone but were pleased to just sit quietly next to each other after all their watery excitement. But still in an ever playful mood, Greg wrapped his arms around James happily and suddenly, the cold wet fabric sinking straight into James own wet shirt. "Ugh! Greg, you're freezing! Get off!"

"Jimmy! Why are you always doing this to me?" He cried out dramatically. "Why do you keep pushing me away when I love you so much!!" He was laughing now, the drama starting to become watered down.

James couldn't help the smile slowly showing on his lips. "I do this because you're cold and wet." He said simply but didn't try to push him off, the before cold wet fabric was now warm from bother of their body heat. Greg noticed this and took full advantage of the situation keeping James close. James didn't seem to return the affections that were being lavished on him but he didn't pushed Greg away.

Looking at the two one wouldn't have thought there was such an age difference between the two. There, 22 year old James sat seemingly aloof to his friends affections with the 32 year old Greg just trying to get his friend to open up to the idea that he liked him and that it was okay for them to be together.

"Jimmy, you're so cute just wet and soaked like a freshly bathed kitten." He chimed and planted a smooch to James' cheek. He only laughed but still didn't return the favor. Greg didn't mind. The fact that he was allowing him to do such without being scolded was progress enough. But when Greg rested his chin on James' shoulder, his head leaning against James, a breakthrough happened. Greg spoke, his voice relaxed. "You know, between you and me, Jimmy, with my quick wit and creativity and your boyish good looks and charm we can rule the world."

James let out an amused snort. "I love you, too, Greg." And with a turn, he gave Greg a peck on the cheek. It was the first time that James had kissed him in any way on his own accord. Progress was a beautiful thing.
