California - Day 1
I'm here! I made it to sunny California.
There was no problems with the flight and, despite my worries, I was able to rent my car (I was having dreams I was getting arrested b/c I was under 25).
The drive was amazing. The day was hot, but it couldn't get any sunnier. I made some stops along the way to grab some geocaches and found some wonderful scenery I would have missed otherwise. That's why I love this hobby.
So, I'm currently at a hotel south of Yosemite National Park and plan to spend my entire day tomorrow enjoying even more beauty of the park.
Oh! and I bought alcohol! On a Sunday!! Nobody else would care (*cough*mother*cough*) but it's a big deal when my alcohol cravings comes on lazy Sunday afternoons. I made the cashier at the store cheer for me. lol..
