I have been a very slack LJer of late... I think its for the same reason that I have been slack with updating my personal journal. Its because I leave it for awhile, and then I feel like I have to update on everything that has happened since my last writing and up till the present. This is far too much pressure, because there is always so much going on, that I tend to flail around a bit looking like I may attempt it, before giving up and doing something else.

So I thought that I would break this bad habit by just writing SOMETHING! It doesn't have to be a novel, it doesn't have to outline every meal I've eaten and every person I've seen since last time, it can just be me saying hi, and then next time I can do the same again.

I will briefly update on whats going on with me though. I had my first day at Uni yesterday. My holidays were awesome, it was great to get a chance to work on my own art projects and not assignments (I finished a really nice set of fuzzy curtains for my bedroom window, they block the light SOO well (which is a necessity for me since I sleep during the day a lot after my night shifts... like soon... oh sweet jesus can it be sleep time soon???) I'll post photos of my curtains soon!). Also I had my 5 days in Melbourne with Kandace which was SOO much fun! We did heaps and heaps of shopping, and took in lots of culture (the Art Gallery, Museum, Wicked & Guys & Dolls). I spent SOOO much money on stuff, and it was totally worth it. Anyway... somewhere at the start of that ramble I was saying that my holidays were great, but I am really really happy to be back at Uni. I hadn't realised how much I had missed it!

I have started work on my oral presentation and essay already, because I don't want to leave them till the last minute. Yay organised!

Anyway... I'm going to go wash my dishes and get ready for my shift replacement to come in. I think I'll also have a coffee so I can make it home safe. This has the unfortunate side effect that I may not actually be able to sleep when I arrive home, but oh well... laying awake and dreaming up art projects is fun too. Worth it to make it home alive. ^_____^

Apologies for the ramblyness and nonsensicality of the above, I am severely tired, and so can't be bothered editing. @____@
