The Top 10 Reasons People Fail To Achieve Their Goals

They don’t clearly define them.
They make them a moving target.
They forget their reasons to succeed.
They focus on their fears.
They make their goals impossible to achieve.
They don’t believe they can achieve them.
They don’t have an effective plan or strategy.
They don’t create a supportive environment.
They never get good directions or coaching.
Failure to accept personal responsibility.

I've been listening to a goal setting seminar, and its gotten me all inspired (by Jim Rohn if anyone's interested). I've been very interested in setting goals, and getting myself organised for a long time, but as these people would say, I've been interested not committed.

So I've started writing up some goals, and its quite exciting. I've found a nifty website for keeping a life goals list - http://www.superviva.com/ . It will be a work in progress for awhile, but that's fine... designing a life isn't something that happens overnight. I found an amazing list of life goals (http://www.johngoddard.info/life_list.htm) from a famous adventuring guy named John Goddard. That really got me looking at my goals in a different light, and getting much more into the "what experiences do I want to have in my life".

One thing that has come out of all this, is that I plan to go to a drive in theatre next month, because I have never been to one, and its something I have always wanted to do. *happy*
