Upsides
Managed to go out for a long walk today - about 2 hours of leisurely strolling around 4 sales at EPIC and then around Watson a little. Not power-walking maybe but I was out of the house.
The usual variety of birds were around to be observe although I did notice a lack of Magpies at Magpie Park. However, the number of Crows seems to have increased somewhat, maybe it's the season for them? One stranger to the usual rollcall of species was a small Kookaburra. I haven't seen one in a donkey's age and unfortunately this one didn't hang around very long at all
