I'm posting this here because I don't 'do' facebook. Should anybody actually see it you may pass it on if you wish but as I don't expect anyone will even read this I don't see that anyone would have any reason to bother.
Some people are confused when I tell them that I try not to hope for anything - that way I am less likely to be disappointed.
Well, I silently set the bar for everyone and no-one disappointed me.
The night before I went to Pheno this year I had an idea for a freeform and over the next day pretty much had it fleshed out enough that I thought I might be able to submit it for Pheno next year. I worked on it for the following month and then was struck by an observation. I decided to continue to 'observe', leaving a deadline of October for the observation to be challenged. With one small exception it was not.
With the exception of my landlord and various shop staff I have not talked to, heard from or in any way interacted with any of you.
