Seven days!
Only seven days until we move and I am soooo excited! I have had it up to here (Holds hands above her head) with this place! Just today our electricity cut out for no reason and they have been working on it all afternoon. It seems to be working now, thank the Goddess.
My kittens (all three of them) are having fun with a string I tied to the dresser drawer that has a bell on the end of it. Princess plays with it too, which is super hilarious!
Not much else going on, work is good and I think I'll like it a lot...it's kind of hard to stay grouchy at work when cute, fat little puppies come bounding through your line all the time. :) And our new apartment is WAY closer to work than where we are now.
Edie got an interveiw with Red River Valley Something-Something...it's for a case worker who can set goals and work with the families of mentally challenged adults. She really likes that work and, after working at Head Start doing the same with the kids' families, she has the experiance along with having worked for DSN in NE. I am very excited for her!
We also started playing softball here, which I haven't done since I was 17...our first practice was fun because I ripped my pants (And I mean a ginormous tear) and my whole team got to see my pretty plaid underwear. LOL! But I made a bitchin' catch in the outfield (a whole jumping in the air and falling on my back thing) and caught the ball. It was so fun, but my muscles hurt SO BAD! My legs and my throwing arm. So, you can tell i haven't done it in forever. My batting on the other hand, isn't the greatest...I think it has to do with my selfconfidance level in that area and the fact that my eye makes it kind of hard...but that's why we have practice I guess, huh?
Other than that, just packing, packing, packing! So excited!!!
