I just realized one of the biggest horrors of the United States. It is right there in front of everyone, but they choose not to see it. Once I recognized it, I felt horrible.
I did not vote for McCain. I will not support him. Any person that makes up his mind that there has to be more war simply has no support from me. I'm not worried about getting put into a war. I'm worried about the choices that adults make that affect our children. The headlines on the News for the Florida Primaries should've been: "GOP Floridians Sign Away The Lives of Children!"
Think about it...
John McCain's spoken words:
"It's a tough war we're in. It's not going to be over right away. There's going to be other wars." Offering more of his increasingly bleak "straight talk," he repeated the claim: "I'm sorry to tell you, there's going to be other wars. We will never surrender but there will be other wars.
And right now - we're gonna have a lot of PTSD [post traumatic stress disorder] to treat, my friends," he said. "We're gonna have a lot of combat wounds that have to do with these terrible explosive IEDs that inflict such severe wounds. And my friends, it's gonna be tough, we're gonna have a lot to do."
He kept using the word "WE."
Our children do not get to decide. We make that decision for them. I think that as long as people get their Medi-caid and get their tax breaks and get what they want, they don't care who has to pay for it.
I really am sickened by the people of the United States. They are a morbid infection in this world. I am also sick of myself. I have done absolutely nothing to prevent anything from happening. Sure, I've spoken to people and let them mock me. That makes me the bigger man, the hero, eh? I've donated to my candidate of choice but on some level, I know I could've done so much more. "WE" are faced, yet again, with choosing the lesser of two evils. I wish the filthy minds of the US would realize what it is they have done.
